We are not trying to list every business or organization in the Valley. We are writing down the people and places somebody in this ecosystem would be genuinely glad we told them about.
A listing should make it easier to make or show work, learn or practice, find a scene, or find care and support that actually understands what live culture asks of people. The field guide grows when we find somebody worth knowing.

Listed here and want it changed? Every entry was written by us from what an organization says publicly about itself. If a line is wrong, out of date, or simply not how you would put it, tell us and we will fix it. If you would rather not be listed at all, say so and you will be off it the same day. No hard feelings and no follow-up.
Know somebody we should know? Put them forward below. Nobody pays to be on this field guide, and membership has nothing to do with inclusion. We keep it curated: being nominated starts a conversation; it does not guarantee a listing.

Know a troupe, teacher, venue, crew, maker, scene or practitioner that makes it easier to make, practice, gather, or stay in the game? Put them forward. If that is you, nominate yourself. Nobody pays to be listed. We read every nomination, ask before publishing, and keep the field guide focused on people and places this ecosystem would be genuinely glad to find.
